What is IFS?
- IFS is a therapeutic model based in the belief that people are made up of sub-personalities. These personalities or “parts” are autonomous and serve very distinct roles. Often these “parts” can appear as emotions, thoughts, sensations or behavior.
-IFS believes that at the root of every individual is their “core self.” The “Self” is represented by the qualities of the 8 C’s, confidence, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, clarity, curiosity and connectedness. Everyone has access to this “self” regardless of upbringing.
-There are no “bad parts,” all are trying to help in the best way they know how.
-In order to bring healing to our inner world we have to extend compassion from our core selves to these often polarizing and extreme parts.
How IFS informs my coaching?
-Listening from my compassionate self, I will help you to identify the various parts of your personality with the intent of bringing clarity and curiosity to your entire being.
-We will co-create a loving and safe environment.
-We will move at your pace, never bypassing any emotions or concerns that arise.
-If you don’t want to go there, we don’t. You contain the answers and healing, I am simply here to help guide you towards the trailhead
MY COACHING METHOD
-
Parts Mapping
It all starts by getting a detailed map of your inner landscape.
-
Self to Part Connection
Next, we’ll extend the loving sunlight of the soul to any and all parts needing the support.
-
CLARITY
You’ll gain clarity around the concerns of your parts and learn how to speak for them rather than from them.

My story
I am an IFS informed coach and completed my training at IFS.CA under the wonderful guidance of Robyn Dickson, MA Spirituality & Counseling. I have worked personally with an IFS, Somatic & trauma informed therapist for multiple years to better understand my own system. I am a certified yoga and breath work coach since 2015. I also work as an Instructor/hiking guide at “The Ashram” in Calabasas, Ca a prestige health & wellness retreat center. I’ve had multiple years of working/completing various 12 step modalities and volunteer at the Juvenile detention centers as well as other recovery centers for teens struggling with addiction. I will be attending UNLV for a Masters in Marriage and Family therapy fall 2026. I earned my undergraduate BFA at “The California Institute of the Arts” for Theatre.
